The famous vehicle that was introduced to London in 1959 and is still running today. Has traditional London rear open-platform arrangement. PA system fitted (speech only).
This type ran alongside the AEC RT-type in London from 1959 until 1979 when the RT type was finally withdrawn from London Transport service.
